JosephBrandon is a multidisciplinary artist, curator, and designer born in New Orleans, Louisiana and based in Los Angeles, California. He is the founder and curator of Proximity Visuals Gallery and a partner and curator at Band of Vices, where he helps shape exhibitions that center bold, fearless, and thought provoking contemporary art.

Working across painting, sculpture, installation, and toy design, JosephBrandon creates work that challenges conventional narratives and invites deep reflection. His practice explores identity, power, liberation, and cultural memory, using form and material as instruments for introspection and transformation.

He earned his BFA in Toy Design from Otis College of Art and Design and continues to expand his practice through large scale sculpture, immersive experiences, and community engaged projects. JosephBrandon lives and works in Los Angeles.
